Is it a good idea to buy a new car just for uber or lyft

The immediate answer is NO. Not a smart move at all. Even if you are looking to do this full time you can get by with a dependable used vehicle. The number one reason is what happens when you invest in a new car and a few weeks later you realize that ridesharing is not your cup of tea?

How to improve your uber lyft ride share ratings

I know the feeling, You do everything right to make sure the passenger is comfortable. You exchange pleasantries upon departure, but ALAS! your rating just keeps going into a downward spiral. I know, been there several times. Let me begin by saying you cant please them all, Some of them will even laugh as they tell you that they will give you a FIVE star baby!! WRONG, they probably left you a Four, maybe a three? How do you get around this mess? Well here's the number one tip to jacking that rating back up to respectable territory.

1. Sometimes you just gotta be nice, you know what i mean? Here's what you do brother, Right before the passenger exists, let him or her have an idea of how much the ride costs, I.E (that is end the trip a few clicks before the vehicle comes to a stop). By the way i always have my phone positioned in a way that the passenger sees everything! The icing on the cake...Drum roll......Make sure they see you hook them up with a FIVE STAR rating baby!
